Ingredients For Ratatouille Lasagne Recipe

Methods
  • 1. In a bowl sift in 300 gms of flour. Add a pinch of salt and 5 ml of olive oil and mix well.
  • 2. Make a well in the flour and add in the yolks and whole egg into it.
  • 3. Mix well until all the egg mixture gets mixed evenly and starts to get together.
  • 4. Now using your hands knead the dough for about 5 to 6 minutes for the dough to get smooth.
  • 5. Rest aside for about 30 minutes.
  • 6. For the pomodoro sauce : add finely chopped onions and garlic into pan.
  • 7. Sweat the onions and then add chopped tomatoes and salt cook until tomatoes are soft.
  • 8. Add basil leaves and black pepper and mixed herbs.
  • 9. Simmer for atleast 35 - 40 minutes on slow flame.
  • 10. Now add sliced vegetables into a bowl add salt and pepper plus extra virgin olive oil.
  • 11. Grill the vegetables and keep them aside.
  • 12. Now roll out the dough into 2mm of thickness and cut into rectangles.
  • 13. Boil water in a hollow pan with salt and oil and blanch the rectangular sheets for about 10 seconds and dry them in paper towel.
  • 14. Now in a baking dish layer the ingredients.
  • 15. Put the pomodoro then layer the grilled vegetables and grated cheese. Now line the pasta sheet and repeat the steps.
  • 16. Now for the sauce add equal parts of flour and butter and cook it in a pan.
  • 17. Add milk and whisk well. Bring to boil and remove from heat.
  • 18. Spread over the lasagne and now add the grated cheese over it.
  • 19. Bake for about 15-20 minutes at 180 c.
