Ingredients For Sabut Masoor Dal

Methods
  • 1. Wash and soak dal for 1-2 hrs.
  • 2. Take a pressure cooker, add dal, salt , turmeric powder and 3 times more water . Cook it for 3-4 whistles until it becomes soft.
  • 3. Heat ghee in a tadka pan, add cumin seeds, when it starts crackle add ginger garlic paste, green chili in it . SautĂ© for few minutes.
  • 4. In a mixer grinder, grind the tomatoes and make puree.
  • 5. Add tomato puree and spices in tadka pan.
  • 6. Saute it till oil release.
  • 7. Put this tadka in cooked dal .Mix it well. Add lemon juice. Dal is ready.
