How to make Sweet and sour poppyseed vada and green mango curry recipe

Take poppyseeds and soak for an hour. Peel and slice the green mango. Keep aside. After one hour grind the poppyseeds. Now add gram flour and salt according to taste .Now whisk the poppyseed paste, gram flour and salt all together.

Take a pan, add 1tbsp mustard oil. Heat the oil .Take small portion of the batter and shallow fry on low to medium heat. Fry 3-4 vada, together don’t over crowded.

After frying all the vada ,add 1/2 tbsp oil and heat on medium flame .Now add panch phoran and dry red chili. Saute for 30 seconds. Now add mango slices, add pinch of salt and pinch of turmeric and sauté for 1 min on medium flame. Now add mustard paste and sauté for 1 minute.

Now add 3/4 cup of water and cover with a lid. Cook for 7/8 minutes. Now add sugar according to taste.Mix well. Now add poppyseed vada. Cook for 4-5 minutes. Now turn off the gas. Serve after half an hour.
