Ingredients For VADA PAO RECIPE

Methods
  • 1. Boil peel and mash the potatoes.
  • 2. Heat oil in a pan and add black mustard seeds to crackle.
  • 3. Now add curry leaves.
  • 4. Make a paste of one green chilly and green garlic leaves and add in the pan.
  • 5. Add turmeric powder and boiled and mashed potatoes and mix well.
  • 6. Add salt and coriander leaves and cook for two minutes.
  • 7. Divide the potato dough into balls and make small patties of medium thickness.
  • 8. Take a bowl add gram flour,rice flour,turmeric powder,salt and half cup of water.
  • 9. Make a batter should not be too thick or thin.
  • 10. Heat oil in a pan.
  • 11. Dip the potato ball into the batter and add in the pan.
  • 12. Deep fry these vada until golden and crispy.
  • 13. Cut the pav into slice.
  • 14. Spread green chutney and tamarind chutney and place on hot vada into the bread slice.
  • 15. Fry the green chilly and serve with vada pao.
