This is a delicious vegan recipe that can be served as an appetizer. Filled with the goodness of sweet potato this is a healthy option. I have shallow fried it instead of deep frying.

Add cashew powder, salt, cumin powder, red chilli powder, green chilies and mix well.

Grease your hands well and take small portions from the mixture and place in the malabar spinach leaves. Fold the leaves into halves. Likewise, repeat for the entire mixture.Â

Now, make a batter by mixing gram flour, salt, turmeric and nigella seeds with water. Make a lump free smooth batter.Â

Heat up oil for frying. Dip the parcels in the gram flour batter and shallow fry in low to medium flame till they are golden brown.Â

Hot and tempting sweet potato malabar spinach parcels are ready to serve.Â
