On the special occasion of Ganpati I have made this innovative Modak for Bappa. The outer coat of this modak is made with roasted vermicelli stuffed with Mawa.

Ingredients For Vermicelli Mawa Modak Recipe

Methods
  • 1. Heat 1 tspn ghee in a pan. Add mawa and 1cup condensed milk in it. When it will start to leave the sides of the pan then switch off the flame. Stuffing is ready. Keep aside.
  • 2. Now add 1tspn ghee in a pan. Add broken , thin vermicelli & roast it for few minutes.
  • 3. Take the roasted vermicelli in a mixing jar with food colour, 1/2 cup condensed milk. almond & cashew nuts. Grind it well & make a paste of it.
  • 4. Now take modak mould, put some paste in it & fill its middle with mawa.
  • 5. Decorate with some grated cashew nuts.
  • 6. Innovative modak for Bappa is ready now.
