Nankhatai are popular Indian Shortbread Cookies or biscuits that are made using flour, sugar and ghee with flavour of cardamom powder or nutmeg powder and are also popular tea time cookies which can be easily made at home. There are many variations of Nankhatai.
Make sure ghee is at room temperature (looks white in colour) and not melted.Just gather together all the ingredients to form dough. Do not knead the dough more like roti or bread dough.
