Bhapa Doi or Steamed Mango Yogurt is a Bengali traditional steamed sweetened yogurt dessert. Steamed Mango Yogurt is just the same of flavored with mango pulp . A fusion twist to the traditional bhapa doi. It is easy to prepare with minimal ingredients. It is a luscious ,creamy, mouth watering and delicious dessert.
While steaming, there should be enough water to cover the bottom half of the mould. Do not bring the water to a boil. Use low heat. Do not overcook. If you do not have thick curds, take 400gms of curds in a sieve and set aside so that the extra liquids drain. Then use 200 gms of the thick curd.
