Butter Toasted Oats flavored with Honey and Peanut Butter Recipe

Sometimes a breakfast as simple as this is sufficient enough to satisfy the tastebuds, appetite and nutritional requirements. Butter toasting oats brings out a nutty flavour that enhances the flavour to a whole new level. This bowl is one of my favourite breakfast. It is important to suffice yourself with enough nutrients in the morning to kick start the day. I flavour my bowl with peanut butter and honey for sweetness and top it up with walnuts and bananas. It is a very nutritious bowl and also keeps you satiated for a long time. You can substitute the milk and butter with vegan options.

Methods
  • 1. Chop bananas and walnuts. Keep them aside
  • 2. In a pan add butter and wait till it melts. Add the oats and toast them until nutty.
  • 3. Once you get the nutty flavor from the oats add in the milk gradually and stir.
  • 4. If your oats are drying oats add water (eye ball the water to prevent it from becoming too runny).
  • 5. Add the peanut butter and stir well to prevent lumps.
  • 6. Transfer oats to a bowl and top with bananas, walnuts and honey.
