Fenugreek seeds and Flaxseeds laddu

In the winters to keep ourselves warm and also our body fit throughout the year we should eat these laddus. These laddus are made by using fenugreek seeds powder and flaxseeds powder. One might think that fenugreek seeds powder tastes bitter, how to eat such laddus! But by the method shared in this recipe you will be able to reduce the bitterness of fenugreek seeds powder. Also these laddus are healthy since have used jaggery in it. Adding flaxseeds increases the nutritive value.

Ingredients For Fenugreek seeds and Flaxseeds laddu

Methods
  • 1. In a mixture jar take almonds and magajtari seeds and make a fine powder.
  • 2. In a nonstick pan take 2-3 tbsp of ghee and roast the besan flour in it till it becomes pinkish and aromatic, remove it in a parat. Similarly roast urad dal flour in 2-3 tbsp ghee also and add it to the parat.
  • 3. Now roast the almonds and magajtari seeds powder in the same pan and roast it in 2-3 tbsp ghee till it becomes pinkish in colour. Add this also to the parat.
  • 4. Roast the edible Gum in the same pan with 1 tbsp of ghee. When it gets roasted properly keep it aside and crush it in the mixture after it cools.
  • 5. Add the crushed roasted edible Gum to the parat.
  • 6. While the roasted edible gum is getting cooled, roast the batrisu powder in 1 tbsp of ghee till aromatic. Switch off the gas and add it to the parat.
  • 7. Now in another parat take the Fenugreek seeds powder and the remaining ghee. Start mixing both of them with your hands briskly till the mixture becomes light, a bit frothy and changes it's colour like light green.
  • 8. The above process reduces the bitterness of fenugreek powder.
  • 9. Now to this parat add all the roasted contents of the other parat. Also add all the remaining contents to the parat.
  • 10. Mix everything well and make small bit size laddus from the mixture when it is little warm. Once cool store them in an air tight container and have it one daily.
