Heat oil in a pan. Add cumin seeds to crackle. Now add tomato and saute for two to three mins.

Add carrot and methi leaves and mix well. Add coriander powder, red chilly powder,turmeric powder,garam masala powder and salt and mix well.Cover and cook on low flame until carrot is done.

Garnish with coriander leaves. Serve with chapatis.
