I have cooked this fish recipe in a completely new innovative way. I have used pudina and dhania leaves mixing together to bring green color and taste of this fish curry is just amazing and very tasty.

Ingredients For GREEN KATLA KALIA RECIPE

Methods
  • 1. Wash the katla fish pieces nicely and mix a little bit of yellow powder and salt with these fish pieces.
  • 2. Make a paste of dhania leaves mixed with pudina leaves and green chilli and then add water in it.
  • 3. Mix nicely and separate the green juices and pour and keep it in a bowl.
  • 4. Heat the pan and add mustard oil and fry the fish pieces of both sides.
  • 5. Remove the fried fish from the pan and add chopped onion and fry these until it turns into brownish color.
  • 6. Then add ginger paste and remaining turmeric powder and salt .Mix this nicely.
  • 7. Then add Kashmiri red chilli powder and jeera powder and lastly add green juices and water.
  • 8. Boil it and add fried katla fish pieces in the juices and boil it.
  • 9. When the juices become dense remove this curry in a serving plate and spread the fresh cream on it.
  • 10. Now the tasty recipe is ready to serve...... GREEN KATLA KALIA
