Methi ka Laddu is an Indian traditional sweet made with fenugreek seeds, dry ginger,black pepper some dry fruits and jaggery. They are very healthy, specifically good for pregnant women and provide warmth to the body thus being a winter special.People suffering from joints pain, especially in winters, can have these ladoos.

Ingredients For Methi ke Ladoo Recipe

Methods
  • 1. First take a cleaned fenugreek seeds and make a fine powder.
  • 2. Take a kadhai add 1/2cup +1 tbsp ghee and heat when oil is heat add gond and fry it when gond pops remove it into a plate
  • 3. After frying all gond excess ghee littile cool it and mix ghee and fenugreek powder and soak it at least 1 hour.
  • 4. After one minute take kadhai add soaked fenugreek powder and fry golden brown colour when it's fried properly then add chopped cashew nuts, almonds,and raisins and mix properly now take out transfer this mixture into a plate.
  • 5. Now take a pan another pan dry roast flaxseeds and take out into a plate.
  • 6. Now add a grated dry coconut and dry roast
  • 7. Now take a kadhai heat 2 tbsp ghee add wheatflour and stir fry golden brown colour and take a another pan add jaggery and melt jaggery on a low flame keep stirring 1,2 minutes.
  • 8. When wheatflour turned golden brown colour then add fenugreek powder and dry fruits mixture and mix it properly now add dry ginger powder,flaxseeds, black pepper powder,and powder date(sukha khajur) and mix again properly.
  • 9. Now switch off the flame transfer this mixture into a plate now add gond katira powder and grated dry coconut and mix it now add melted jaggery give a good mix and keep a side.
  • 10. When this mixture little chilled mix it properly in your hand and make a laddu and store it air tight container in 1,2 months easily make this ladoo and enjoy this winter!
