Ingredients For Moong Dal Khichdi Recipe

Methods
  • 1. Wash dal and chawal. Soak it for 1 hrs.
  • 2. Boil 1 glass water in a pressure cooker, add soaked dal, chawal, salt and turmeric powder. Pressure cook it for 2 whistles.
  • 3. Heat ghee in a tadka pan add cumin seeds, when it starts crackle add green chilli, asafoetida and kali mirch and little turmeric.
  • 4. After few seconds turn off the flame. Pour this tadka over the cooked khichadi.
  • 5. Serve hot.
