Paneer kali mirch is prepared using an onion and curd based gravy. Thus rich gravy is from north Indian cuisine. It tastes delicious. It is to be served along with roti/naan. Kali Mirch aka black pepper powder which is freshly ground is used generously which is not overpowering but still tantalise your taste buds with its subtle taste. Tender stems of coriander leaves also add nice flavour to the dish. It is so much flavorful. This white gravy based dish is little sweet in taste.
