For making tart using ice cold water is very important. Roast all the panjiri ingredients in ghee on low flame.

Methods
  • 1. FOR MAKING TART:- In a bowl seive the maida, wheat flour then add powdered sugar, milk powder, pinch salt. Now add 1 cup Nova sudh ghee in the dry ingredients mix it well with your fingertips.
  • 2. Gradually add ice cold water and knead well to make a stiff dough and refrigerate for at least 10 minutes.
  • 3. After 10 minutes once again knead the dough. Roll out a portion of dough and place it in a tart mould and gently press around the sides. Prick all over the tart with help the help of a fork.
  • 4. Arrange the tart in a baking tray and bake in a pre heated oven at 180 degrees for 20-25 minutes.
  • 5. Now for making panjiri use remaining 1 cup Nova sudh ghee. Turn on the stove take a pan add 2-3 tbsp of Nova sudh ghee, edible gum and cook on low flame. Edible gum will puff up in ghee. Do not rush through this process. Allow it to puff completely. When crackling stop, means it is cooked.
  • 6. Take the edible gum in a bowl and In same pan add Nova ghee add nuts and roast it. Mix this nuts with edible gum. Now again add Nova ghee add Makhana. Cook until light brown in colour. Remove it from ghee and mix it with edible gum and nuts.
  • 7. Now again take Novq ghee in pan add melon seeds roast it and add it to above mixture. Now roast dry coconut in same pan and add in the same bowl. Cool all this ingredients.
  • 8. Add remaining Nova ghee to the hot pan. Add wheat flour. Mix and cook on a medium flame, stirring continuously. Cook until the colour changes to light brown and it’s aroma fills the room. Remove this in a bowl and keep it aside.
  • 9. Now take all the roasted ingredients in a mixi jar and crush it coarsely. Take this ingredients In a bowl and add roasted wheat flour, powdered sugar, dry ginger powder, cardamom powder. Mix all this properly.
  • 10. Panjiri is ready.
  • 11. Now for assembling take the baked tart add panjiri in it. Garnish it with sugar decorations.
