1. To check jaggery syrup, pour a drop of syrup in the bowl of water if it doesn't mix with water and doesn't loose it's shape, then the syrup is ready. 2. Make moas immediately after mixing with jaggery syrup till it remains hot.

Methods
  • 1. First dry roast the puffed rice till they are crunchy. Take them out and keep aside.
  • 2. In a heavy bottom pan, add jaggery and water. Cook the jaggery syrup till it becomes sticky.
  • 3. To check,  pour a drop of syrup in the bowl of water if it doesn't mix with water and doesn't loose it's shape, then the syrup is ready.
  • 4. Now, turn off the flame and add the puffed rice and mix well with the jaggery syrup.
  • 5. Then make balls. Gently press the mixture in your palm. If required add water in your palms and make balls immediately till the the mixture is hot.
  • 6. Store the moas in an airtight container.
