Ingredients For Steamed pitha recipe

Methods
  • 1. Mix grated coconut and jaggery and cook it for 10 minute on low flame. Keep it aside.
  • 2. Boil 1.5cup water, pour it with 2 cup rice flour and salt. Mix it with a spatula and cover it for next 15 minute.
  • 3. Now make a smooth dough with help of palm. Take one small potion of dough, flatten it and fill some coconut stuffing and close it properly. Such that no filling comes out.
  • 4. Boil some water place a holed plate over it, such that boiling water will not touch the holed plate.
  • 5. Place the pitha on the holed plate, take care no pitha with touch another one. Cover the whole plate and steam it for 15min. Take it out and enjoy it with nolen gur.
