In a aluminum vessel add 2 sliced onions and saute them in oil for 3 mins. Add sliced tomatoes, green chillies, garlic, and ginger to it. Noe add bay leaf, cinnamon, Clove, black cardamom and green cardamom. Add 1 tbsp salt and 7-8 cashews,and let it cook on low flame for 20 mins

For kofta-In a bowl mash 2 boiled potatoes. Grate paneer in it. Add salt and pepper to it .add 1 chopped green chilli and 2 tbsp coriander to it. Add 1 cup maida and combine well.

Turn off the flame after 20 mins for the gravy and let it cool completely

Heat oil in a kadhai for frying koftas. Make small balls of the potato mixture and fry until golden brown. Keep aside.

Grind the cooled onion tomato mixture. Take 2 tbsp oil in another kadhai. Add 2 tbsp butter to it. Add red chilli powder, jeera powder, coriander powder, jeera powder and roast well in oil. Add the puree of the gravy. Mix well.

Let it come to a boil. Now add 5 tbsp fresh cream and kasoori methi and mix well.
7.
Serve the gravy on top of the kofta and serve hot.
