This is the simplified version of Malai Paneer which literally have the basic ingredients that is Malai and Paneer into it along few masala and basic seasonings. The vegetarian population can skip the onion garlic part and the rest will be same.

Recipe Notes

Milk and fresh cream should be cooked a very low flame otherwise it may burn. Paneer shouldn't be overcooked orelse it will be hard.

Ingredients For Methi Malai Paneer Recipe

Methods
  • 1. Take heavy bottom non stick kadai. Add 2cups of full cream milk. Add all the whole spices in it and let it simmer for about 3-4 minutes till a layer of malai is formed. Add 1/2 tbsp butter into it.
  • 2. Now add the sliced onion, garlic and ginger into the milk and let it boil for about more 3-4minutes at lower flame then switch of the flame.
  • 3. Add the chasew + almond paste into the simmerd milk and stir it once. Now switch off the flame.
  • 4. Let the milk mixture cool for a while. Put the entire milk mixture into a blending jar and blend it into smooth shiny paste. Now add the paste into the same non stick kadai.
  • 5. Put on the flame and add sugar/honey , salt to taste, black pepper powder, kashmiri red chilli powder, 1tbsp of kasuri methi and stir well.
  • 6. Now add fresh cream and raw cubes paneer and stir once. Now add crushed nutmeg and homemade garam masala into it. Stir and then switch off the flame.
  • 7. Finish off with some crushed dehydrated kasuri methi. Serve hot with tea roti , paratha, kulcha, naan etc.
