A beautiful Traditional sweet is carrot cake. In holi celebration we make sweet or cakes for friends. So here I try to make our own Traditional sweet little my way .

Cool down the cake completely then add frosting. Otherwise its melting.

Ingredients For Carrot Cake With Beetroot Frosting Recipe

Methods
  • 1. Whisk flour with baking powder, soda, salt and spices. Set aside.
  • 2. Whisk  jaggery , milk and oil . Add grated carrots, add them to this mixture. In the end, add dry ingredients and whisk to combine.
  • 3. Lightly grease with butter and dust flour in pan. I take flower shaped mold . Spread the batter evenly. Bake for about 25 minutes at 170 °c .
  • 4. For the frosting, beat beetroot paste and amul cream . I used hand mixer. Now  add powdered sugar, mix well to combine.  Spread the frosting over cooled cake .
  • 5. For plating, place the flower shspe carrot cake . Add some fresh carrot pieces and beetroot cubes . Some chocolate sauce droplets and fresh flowers in side of  hung curd ring.
