Methods
  • 1. Soak toor dal and chana dal for two hours. Pressure cook dal with salt ,turmeric powder and 3 cup of water. After 10 mins turn off the flame.
  • 2. Heat clarified butter in a pan. Add asafoetida and cumin seeds to crackle.
  • 3. Add onion and ginger and saute till transparent.
  • 4. Add tomato,green chilly and red chilly powder and cook for one to two mins now add cooked dal Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot with chapati.
