Methods
  • 1. Mix the whole wheat flour,semolina,carom seeds, cream ,salt properly ..Add water and form a semi soft dough
  • 2. Cover and rest the dough for 10 min
  • 3. Make small balls out of the dough ..roll it between your palms, n give a round finger impression in between
  • 4. steam the dumplings for 10 min.
  • 5. Allow the steamed dumplings to rest for 10 min and the roast in tandoor or coal fire...Once roasted ,dump them in ghee..
  • 6. For daal..Pressure cook all type of daals with peanuts ..
  • 7. heat 3 tbsp oil /ghee in a vessel, add cumin and mustard seeds ..allow them to crackle.
  • 8. a=now add asafoetida,cloves,black pepper ,ginger garlic paste and roast for few min..
  • 9. add turmeric, red chilli powder, kokum and 1/4 Cup jaggery and mix well.
  • 10. add boiled daal , peanuts ,salt and 1 cup water and boil it for 10-15 min
  • 11. For churma..Grind 2-3 Batis...add jaggery,and cardamon or jaiphal powder and form small balls ..
