Ingredients For Vegetable Kofta Biryani Recipe

Methods
  • 1. Boil water with salt and ghee add rice and cooked till 90% grains are cooked.
  • 2. Once cooked strain the rice and keep aside.
  • 3. Mix chopped and grated vegetables in a bowl with salt and 1 tbsp of gram flour.
  • 4. Knead the mixture very well without using water. Make small balls out of it. Atleast 25 balls.
  • 5. Deep fry the kofta balls till golden brown and keep aside.
  • 6. Blend onions 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste and bread slices in a mixture to a fine paste.
  • 7. Heat a deep base pan add 1 tbsp oil and 2 tbsp ghee add jeera and onion paste. Once the paste turns pink add tomato puree turmeric powder chilli pwder and salt. Cook till oil separates. Once cooked add biryani masala in the gravy and simmer for 2 minutes.
  • 8. Take a big deep vessel grease with ghee add a layer of rice then place koftas all over top it with gravy layer repeat the layers twice finally cover with rice and pour 2 tbsp ghee all over the rice cover with a lid and simmer for 5 minutes add fried onions on top of rice.
