Vermicelli kunafeh reipe

Methods
  • 1. First take vermicelli in a bowl and break them into smaller pieces.
  • 2. Pour the melted butter over it and toss with your hands until all strands are evenly coated. Divide it into two parts. Add red color to one part.
  • 3. For the filling, take a thick bottom pan and add milk, cream and 2tbsp sugar. Heat the above mixture on low flame until it gets thicker. Keep on stirring.
  • 4. Add britannia cheese and mozzarella cheese. Switch off the flame and mix it well. Transfer it to a bowl. Keep it aside.
  • 5. For making sugar syrup, take another pan, add water and sugar. Stir and cook it until mixture gets thicken. Add rose essence and turn off the flame.
  • 6. For baking kunafeh, take a baking tray and make the base with half of the vermicelli mixture. Pour the cheese mixture over it and spread evenly.
  • 7. Now cover it with the red coloured vermicelli mixture. Bake it in the pre-heated oven at 200°C for 30 minutes till it turns golden and crunchy.
  • 8. Pour the prepared sugar syrup evenly on top of the baked kunafeh.
  • 9. Garnish with pistachios before serving.
